Just arrived back from cherry picking at Klondyke Farm. Klondyke is about 2 hours drive from Cape Town.

Entry into the farm is R15 per person. Thereafter, customers are charged R45 per kilogram for cherries picked.  After picking cherries, we had some ice-cream, braaied (South African word for ‘barbeque’) and then had a bit of a snooze.

Those of you looking for something funny should check out, “The 56 best/worst similes.” My favourite simply has to be, “Her date was pleasant enough, but she knew that if her life was a movie this guy would be buried in the credits as something like “Second Tall Man.””
